JOIN US FOR HOLY WEEK

Holy Week in Christianity is the week before Easter.
It commemorates the last week of the earthly life of Jesus Christ culminating in His crucifixion on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Palm Sunday, March 25

Informal Cokesbury Service at 8:30 a.m.

Traditional Service at 11:00 a.m.

Procession of Palms by the children during the 11:00 service.

“The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!’” Matthew 21:9

Holy Week Services

Monday, March 26th - Thursday, March 29th

12:00 noon to 12:50 p.m.

We will have guest speakers and special music each day followed
by a delicious meal in the fellowship hall.
Meal cost is $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family.

Maundy Thursday Service

March 29th at 7:00 p.m.
This service is a combination of holy communion
and a dramatic musical presentation by the Chancel Choir.

 

The church office and daycare will be closed on Good Friday, March 30th

 

Easter Sunday, April 1

Informal Cokesbury Service at 8:30 a.m.

Traditional Service at 11:00 a.m.

Children will decorate the flower cross during the 11:00 service.

(Please bring flowers for the children to lay at the foot of the flower cross.)
